On March 3, 2010, Texas Allied Petroleum, Inc., an exploration, development and production company operating out of Austin, Texas announced that it had acquired a 300 acre oil and gas lease in the Henry Crooks Survey, Lavaca County, Texas.

According to a recent press release, the company stated that It has plans to develop and test up to 4 wells in the Yegua sand.
